Our Managing Partner, Dr. Jaime Roca, together with the president of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAMDR), Mr. Roberto Herrera, led a delegation from the AMCHAMDR Legal Committee in a visit to the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo, where they were informed advances in the commercial registry, among other areas. Understanding closely the great work carried out by the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo, was a pleasant and hopeful impression, promising the Dominican Republic to achieve an unprecedented modernization in its commercial registries, as well as in other areas.

Nuestro Socio Gerente, Dr. Jaime Roca, junto al presidente de la Cámara Americana de Comercio (AMCHAMDR), señor Roberto Herrera, encabezó una delegación del Comité Legal AMCHAMDR en una visita la Cámara de Comercio y Producción de Santo Domingo, en donde fueron informados de los avances en el registro mercantil, entre otras áreas. Comprender de cerca el gran trabajo que realizan los representantes de la Cámara de Comercio y Producción de Santo Domingo, fue una grata y esperanzadora impresión, prometiendo a la República Dominicana alcanzar una modernización sin precedentes en sus registros mercantiles, así como en otras áreas.

Our Managing Partner, Dr. Jaime Roca, in his capacity as chairman of the Legal Committee of The American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAMDR), had the honor of introducing Dr. Fabiola Medina, in her dissertation on the need to engage in a rigorous study of the draft amendment to Title I of the Tax Code. As moderators of the eloquent participation, there were the distinguished lawyers, Caroline Bono and José Manuel Romero, members of the Tax and Customs Affairs Commission of the AMCHAMDR Legal Committee.

Nuestro Socio Gerente, Dr. Jaime Roca en su condición de presidente del Comité Legal de la Cámara Americana de Comercio (AMCHAMDR), tuvo el honor de introducir a la Dra. Fabiola Medina, en su disertación sobre la necesidad de abocarse a un riguroso estudio del anteproyecto de modificación al Título I del Código Tributario. Como moderadores de la elocuente participación, estuvieron los distinguidos letrados, Caroline Bono y José Manuel Romero, miembros de la Comisión de Asuntos Fiscales y Aduanales del Comité Legal AMCHAMDR.

Reunión entre representantes AMCHAMDR y el Ministro de la Presidencia Joel Santos conjuntamente con parte de su equipo ejecutivo. Revisando lo que podemos catalogar como la primera alianza público privada para el desarrollo y fortalecimiento de las políticas públicas que persiguen el fortalecimiento de la inversión extranjera y el clima de negocios de la República Dominicana.
