Alexa is part of our Corporate and Intellectual Property teams as a Junior Lawyer. She holds a law degree with a concentration in Corporate Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). Shortly after completing her degree, she completed a Diploma in Labor Law at the Instituto OMG and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Corporate Business Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).

She has experience in the areas of civil, commercial, corporate, and industrial and intellectual property law, providing legal advice on commercial transactions, handling corporate legal documentation, drafting and reviewing contracts, incorporating and updating commercial companies and non-profit associations, forming consortiums, and providing legal assistance in public bidding processes, as well as in the registration and management of trade names and trademarks in the Dominican Republic. She also provides assistance in immigration cases and administrative litigation in the field of industrial property.
She has completed courses and certifications focused on debate and argumentation techniques, effective communication, leadership, and simultaneous and consecutive interpretation in English and Spanish. She currently complements her professional practice with active social contribution and civic participation as a member of non-profit organizations dedicated to the defense and promotion of human rights, as well as citizens’ rights and duties.
