Jaime Roca is the founding partner of ROCA. He holds a Doctorate in Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and a Master’s degree in Business Law and Economic Legislation from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). He is a lawyer and a leader in the legal field. Throughout his years as the head of ROCA, he has demonstrated his expertise in areas such as corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, franchises, intellectual property, economic regulation, taxation, banking, administrative law, free trade zones, and litigation, among others.
Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Legal Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR), leading discussions and positions related to investment, the rule of law, democracy, and bilateral relations between the Dominican Republic and the United States. He is also a member of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Commission of the National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP). He has been recognized as a prominent professional in international rankings such as Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, among others. Recently, he was recognized as one of the most prestigious lawyers in the book “Best Lawyers Dominican Republic” by Revista Mercado.
