Pamela Contreras is a member of the Corporate Team at ROCA. Her career has been mainly oriented to a corporate practice, including the incorporation and registration of the different types of companies, their maintenance, updates and renewal processes, the processing and recording of commercial transactions, as well as all kinds of corporate counselling, including legal advices related to labor law, securities markets, real estate, franchise agreements, representation and concessions, supply and transportation.
She has also been involved in counselling clients regarding environmental issues, especially in the field of environmental licensing and their administrative management before the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
Pamela provides assistance to the clients of the firm with diverse migration procedures, in order to regularize the status of foreigners providing their services to companies established in the country. Among the immigration proceedings she manages, are the Dominican visa applications, temporary and permanent residence permits for foreigners and Dominican minor travel permits.
As a graduate from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Pamela is the author of the thesis ““Analysis on the Right to Informative Self-Determination in the Credit Bureau of the Dominican Republic”, which allowed her to opt for the Bachelor of Law Degree, Summa Cum Laude.
