Felicia has developed her 20-year career as a trial attorney and coordinates the Litigation Team. Her expertise in contentious matters include varied fields of law, among others civil, commercial, criminal, labor, administrative, real estate, execution, civil procedure, criminal procedure and alternative dispute resolution.

She has participated in numerous litigations on behalf of local and foreign banks, companies, trade and industries which have shaped her professional career. Her specialization in obligations law combined with daily actions on damage claims. A significant amount of defense or civil actions, labor liability, breaches of contract and criminal cases are headed by Felicia Santana before the Dominican courts.

She has participated as a guest speaker at international forums. Recently she was responsible counseling and representing an international hotel against 17 claims in damages as a result of an alleged fall of an elevator carrying part of the escort of the Dominican president. Recently, she freed one of the main companies in the country of two lawsuits contingencies totaling more than one billion Dominican pesos. She has led the defense strategies of companies, industries, hotels and insurance for criminal, labor and civil liability for claims in damages.

Felicia constantly provides legal opinions to one of the major foreign investment banks and other national banks on contingencies, litigation matters and represents them in complex processes and enforcement procedures for monthly recovery of millions of dollars. As well, she annually coordinates hundreds of cases related to real estate and registered reserved.

In addition, she recently assisted in the due diligence and consulting of a major foreign corporation for the acquisition and purchase of financial assets, credit portfolio, including real estate and tourism projects. She equally attended with success an action for fraud against a shareholder trying to distract assets in his favor and also assisted in the defense and release of a CEO against all criminal and civil actions filed recklessly against him by the company, other directors and some shareholders.

She has faced high technology crimes and offenses, aggravated theft against banks, companies and industries. She has been at the forefront of criminal and civil actions for medical malpractice.

She is constantly engaged in major transactions and conflict resolution.
